Expect A Miracle!  Why not?  Life is filled with miracles, just look around. Better yet, go look in the mirror.  Look at the miracle of YOU!

Welcome!

First, congratulate yourself!  In choosing this course, you've shown that you are ready to step forward into your desires!  You CAN achieve a healthy, balanced weight, feeling better about yourself and other changes you’ve been seeking!
 
Throughout this course we will be using Energy Therapy Techniques, Meditations and more to help you:
 
*Reduce stress
*Eliminate cravings
*Blast out negative thinking patterns
*Dissolve limiting beliefs
*Restore your personal power
*Allow your authentic self to shine
 
Letting go of old patterns and beliefs that are holding you back is one of the most amazing things you do!  The Emotional Freedom Technique(EFT) and The ZPoint Process can help you do this easily, quickly and effectively!  You'll learn to perform both techniques and use other valuable tools to maintain your changes along the way.  Finally, methods that help you stop the old patterns and regain your power!

~GETTING STARTED~
 
Be ready to write!  It's a good idea to purchase a 3 ring binder to hold each lesson (print these pages from the website), the PDF documents you'll be given and your completed assignments.  This allows you to refer back to any portion of the course at anytime.  This binder becomes your special guide and workbook!  You may also want to consider burning the audio sessions and meditations to CDs.
 
Another option for saving the course and it’s contents, is to create folders on your computer for all the items.  Start with a main folder for page links to the lessons (or email them to yourself and save the emails), then add sub-folders (within the main folder) to store the audios and PDF documents.  I do recommend creating sub-folders for the EFT and ZPoint audios, especially if you decide to burn to CD or download to your IPOD. 

 
~INTENTIONS~
 
We begin by setting our intentions for this course.  I'll go first:
 
"It is my intention for you to benefit from this course in ways that help you shift into more positive and uplifted feelings about who you are, and to know you are deserving and worthy of the wonderful changes you desire!"
 
Set YOUR intention right now, for what you truly want from this course and then TRUST it will happen.
 
Print off the Getting Started document and journal for a few moments about why you chose this course.  Please take your time with this!
 
Next, write down your intention, sign and date it. Done?  Great!
 
Take a moment now to openly ask for partnership from God (the Divine, the Universe, Source, Heavenly Father & Mother...whatever term fits you).  Spend another few minutes sitting quietly before proceeding.
 
Trust in the miracles of life!  Below your intention write down some of the miracles you've experienced in your life. Here are a few of the miracles in my life:
  • Surviving my birth!  3 weeks early, born at home (my mother was alone with no one to help her), breach-but not  normal breach as I came out feet first AND blue in color with my cord wrapped around my neck!  YIKES!
  • Marrying my soul mate! 
  • The birth of my children and grandchildren!
  • Going partially deaf in both ears and having my hearing restored!
  • Being who I am and where I am right now!
  • Connecting with YOU!

Begin today by seeing your body as a miracle.  Every cell of your body is a miracle.  Our bodies are extremely complex and complete an unbelievable number of functions each and every second!  Your body is capable of much more than you may believe at this time.


Another miracle of your body is that it knows the way to healing.  Cut your finger and the healing process begins.  You know it will heal and then let the healing happen.  This is the way for all healing!
 


If you find yourself struggling with this assignment, try focusing on one thing you find truly amazing about yourself OR come back to this assignment later!

Wow!  Do you realize what you've already accomplished?  You've set your intention for what you want, you've asked for divine partnership and you've acknowledged some of the miracles in your life! 

The wheels of change are in motion!

 
~REALITY~
 
Checking in with reality.  You know it takes time and movement (more on movement later) to change physically. Be realistic.  You aren't going to go to bed tonight and wake up 40 pounds lighter, or suddenly have a 26 inch waist! 
 
Visualize what you want.  Get very clear on what you want, this is an important step!  Then accept that you still have to DO your part to make that vision a reality.  This is not the Holodeck on StarTrek®, at least not yet!
 
While physical change may take some time, with techniques such as EFT and ZPoint, you can often change your mental patterns and beliefs quickly.  It may happen that you'll feel something change in an instant and with the knowledge it is permanent.  For others, the changes may be more subtle and gentle.  Like a quiet walk with nature, you'll find each step a bit easier and you'll begin to notice yourself feeling better along the way.
 
Understand this is about finding your place of balance and harmony.  The place where you feel love, joy and goodness about being you in each and every moment.  It's about knowing and accepting 'this place' will change and then flowing with the changes.  Remember, no matter what you do, you will not look or feel exactly the same at 30, 40 or 50 as you did at 20! And you know what?  That's okay!!  BE who YOU are right NOW!  The glorious YOU!
 
Try this affirmation right now. "I am where I am, and that's okay!"
 
Use it any time you find yourself too much in the past or the future.  Note the feelings that surface when using it. Think about where your thoughts are most of the time.  Past, present or future?
 
An important part of this entire process is to write down your thoughts.  Your thoughts create your reality!  We'll use those thoughts to help you change the old beliefs and patterns to bring about the reality you truly want!  Print and save the Weight Balance Worksheet - (only available with the full course) document now.

Under Lesson 1 on your worksheet - complete the section for where your thoughts are most of the time.  As you proceed through the course, refer back to this worksheet and write down thoughts and feelings related to each of the issues covered.  As you learn about Energy Therapy techniques, EFT and ZPoint, you'll see how to use your notes with both methods.
 
 
~TRUTH~
 
Do you truly desire change?  Weight release, being healthier, feeling fit or simply feeling content with yourself?  Be honest.  Do you really want this? And are you ready for this?

Most likely you’ve said YES to one or more of these questions.  Check in with your heart. Is there any feeling of no within you? Are you sure?

Whether or not you realize it, there a good chance part of you that doesn’t feel safe letting go of this comfortable place.  This part may be very afraid of change.  That's why the change hasn't taken place yet.  It’s okay!
 
Now answer the following questions:
 
Are you willing to accept who and where you are right now?
Are you able to make the commitment to yourself to do this? And stand by it?
 
These are your first steps and are critical to your success!
 
YOU MUST BE READY!

At minimum, can you agree to allow yourself to begin the change(s) you desire?  This may seem a simple question, yet you may find lots of excuses and ways to keep yourself from standing by this kind of self-agreement.
 
Self-sabotage or whatever term you prefer has most likely happened to you before.  If you are not willing to support yourself fully in this, the old patterns and beliefs will remain in charge.  If you are worried that you may not be ready, take a breath and relax!  YOUR next step is to acknowledge the issues that are keeping you from being ready!  There are audio sessions created specifically for helping you with this.
 
Go to your worksheet and list the reasons why you might not be ready. Here are some examples:
 
I’m not ready to release weight, slim down, etc…because others will expect more of me.
 
I want to release weight, slim down, etc…because I know this extra weight is not healthy for me, but when I do the changes never last.

I was meant to look or feel this way.
 
Done with your list?  Great!  It’s time to relax and enjoy a short guided meditation.
 
 

~BABY STEPS~

We finish up today’s lesson with this guidance: “Take baby steps.”
 
Taking small steps will make it easier.  Trying to take giant leaps forward is setting yourself up for failure. By taking small steps, you reinforce and recharge your power to change!  Go at your own pace.  This isn’t a race – it’s your life!  If you feel overwhelmed at any point, stop, step back and take a short break.

Always congratulate and praise yourself with each step!  Be thankful for the things you learn and remember about yourself!

If you experience a set back, don’t allow yourself to get wrapped up in it!  Forget the story attached to it!  Get back up, dust yourself off and move on!
 
And be sure to let yourself have some fun!  As adults we sometimes forget how important it is to have fun!  Having fun gets you back in touch with your inner child and with God.  It makes you feel good and reminds you how wonderful life is!
 
Take FUN baby steps, you'll experience better results and it will be easier and more enjoyable along the way!
 
Go to your worksheet and list out some fun things you can do for yourself!
